Imphal, February 10:
Suspicious of a piece of wire which was found being laid under a culvert near Mayangkhang under Kangpokpi police station in Sadar Hills, army personnel cordoned off the area and searched for any possible booby bomb at around 1 pm today.
On getting the report, bomb experts of the State Police Department had rushed to the area, but returned back midway as they were informed that no bomb had been detected.
