Imphal, June 07: A seminar on the 'role of the institution of higher education' which would go on for two day has begun from today at DM College of Arts here.

The seminar is being organised by DM College of Arts under the sponsorship of Directorate of University and Higher Education, Government of Manipur.

The inaugural function of the seminar was attended by Commissioner of Hr Edn, Manipur P Bharat Singh as chief guest, principal of DM College of Arts Dr Y Bhanu Devi as president and Addl Director RK Chaoba Singh and OSD (Planning) of the Directorate L Iboyaima as guests of honour.
