Imphal, May 07: On receipt of instruction for acquiring the required land for upgrading the Institute of Bio-Resource and Sustainable Development presently located at Takyelpat to the status of a deemed university, the State Govt has started taking up necessary measures.

In this regard, the DC of Imphal East has started making arrangement for acquiring the required land for setting up the office complex of the Institute at Haraorok in Imphal East district, according to information received by the press.
