Imphal, Aug 06:
The first batch of 3 Grenadiers Battalion Group of the Indian Army will be leaving for United Nation Mission in Ethiopia and Eritrea on the night of July 6/7, 2006.
To bid farewell to this illustrious battalion, a Special Sainik Sammelan was addressed by Additional Director General (Staff Duties) Maj Gen RPS Malhan, here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Maj Gen Malhan called upon the troops to remember that they are going on the mission as ambassadors of the country and hence their personnel conduct and discipline should be of the highest standards.
