Imphal, Jul 04: A man in his 30s has been admitted at RIMS Hospital after he was shot and injured by unidentified gunmen near Tera Pukhri Achouba last evening.

Identity of the injured person has been established as Naorem Dineshchandra son of Shyamkishore of Singjamei Naorem Leikai.

According to press sources, Dineshchandra was abducted from his home on July 2 evening.

Besides a bullet piercing the 30 year old's left arm another bullet which hit the buttock area was stuck at the tip of his private part which has been subsequently removed after an operation today.

An injured Dineshchandra reportedly contacted Tera police outpost from where he was rushed to RIMS hospital.
