Imphal, Sep 03: Unidentified miscreants set aflame a Tata mini bus belonging to the office of the Horticulture Department located at Mantripukhri at around 5 pm today.

The Tata Mini bus bearing registration number MN-1G/0884 was kept inside the garage located in front of the Supervisors' Training Hall.

According to report culled from the site of the incident, the bus was set on fire by two unidentified miscreants who came in a Scooter.

On seeing the fire, some labourers working nearby rushed in and tried their best to put it off.

Not long after, Fire Services personnel arrived and put off the fire.

The engine, the front seats and the front tyre on the right side of the bus have been damaged in the fire.
