National Identity protection Committee (NIPCO) has announced it decision of extending support to the 12-hour Manipur bandh being called jointly by Movement for Tribal People's Rights, Manipur; All Manipur College Tribal Students' Organisation, Manipur; Zeliangrong Youth Front; Sadar Hills Youth Union and Tribal Vigilance Forum with effect from 6 am to 6 pm of August 5.
