Imphal, October 21:
Hericoun, Ipsa, Nipco and UPF have jointly appealed to the member of the public for generous donation in cash or kind for assistance to mitigate sorrow and suffering of innocent civilian in the strife-torn Karbi Anglong district of Assam.
Speaking during a joint press briefing at Tiddim Line office of IPSA today, members of the four bodies informed of visiting relief camps being opened at Assam's Diphu and Hojai Bishnupur areas on October 24 to distribute relief materials.
To show solidarity to people displaced from their homes due to the ethnic clash the organisations fervently appealed to every section of the Manipur society to contribute their mite for the noble cause.
