Imphal, June 29: Human Rights Law Network, a nationwide network of lawyers and social activists dedicated to using the legal system to advance human rights and ensuring access to justice for all, would be organizing a one-day workshop on the Rights to Food on June 30 at Imphal.

The workshop, which is billed as first of its kind on the issue, is an offshoot of the Right to Food Case (Writ Petition (Civil)No 196 of 2001, People's Union for Civil Liberties Vs Union of India and Ors) pursued by the Network, presently pending in the Supreme Court of India and the resultant campaign of Right to Food.
