Chandel, September 30: The Chandel district Deputy Commissioner Norbert Disinang has warned of stringent action against officials and employees of all the departments in the district who fail to attend office regularly.

The DC informed of launching surprise checking of attendance register and those found neglecting duties would be appropriately dealt with.

He also confided of the Chief Secretary assuring to expedite road improvement works in between Pallel and Chandel district headquarters.

Meanwhile, Naga Students� Union Chandel charging heads of Govt Depts of failure to execute developmental works asked the officials to ensure regular attendance of the sub-ordinate staffs.
