Report sought on SK Oil unavailability

Imphal, October 27: Following the bandh called in Bishnupur district against unavailability of SK Oil in the district, Principal Secretary AE Ahmad has explicit report from the Deputy Commissioner of the district.

An official source informed that the State Government would take up necessary actions according to the report from the DC.

In connection with the same issue, it is reported that the FCS Director would also submit a Departmental report to the State Government.

On the other hand, a meeting was also held with Principal Secretary in the chair about the possibility of famine in Churachandpur district following extensive bamboo flowering in the district.

According to information received from the FCS Department, there would be no shortage of foodgrains in Churachandpur district.
