Imphal, December 26 2009: Expressing concern over State Government's stoic silence, Zeliangrong Students' Union (ZSU), Tamenglong district urged upon the concerned authorities to disburse the required compensation to villagers for the standing crops and land acquired by the Government in connection with opening of CRPF post at Khongsang, Rengpang of the district.

Maintaining that villagers handed over the land of their forefathers to the authorities with deep pain, ZSU warned that it would not remain as a silent spectator if any unwanted incident happens due to Government's negligence.
