Imphal, September 06: The RPF/PLA today pulled up two persons who were involved in fraudulently withdrawing Rs 1 lakh to pay as compensation to the victims of the bomb blast on August 15, 2003 at Lilong bridge.

Speaking to the press somewhere at Thoubal today, a spokesman of the outfit said that the two withdrew Rs 1 lakh from a private bank at Wangjing named Meeyamgi Thourang in the name of the PLA to compensate for the victims of the bomb blast.

The two frauds are identified as L Athouba (30) of Wangjing and S Budha (35) of Serou.

They have been handed over to family members after due warning.
