Imphal, November 18: Lodging strong protest against the arrest of one Heiningsubam Shyam alias Anthony s/o of late H Selungba Singh of Churachandpur Khuga Tampak by 3 AR posted at Churachandpur on November 12 night, the Meetei Society Churachandpur has appealed for his safe and unconditional release at the earliest possible.

While clarifying that the arrested individual is not just an innocent teacher, but also the general secretary of Unit-V Khuga Tampak of the Society, it warned of launching agitation if the individual is not release unconditionally soon.
