Imphal, May 03: Following the sanction of the wages of 314 casual workers of PHED by the State Finance Department and another official order to terminate the services of these casual workers, a meeting of PHED Workers and Employees Organisation, Manipur has convened a meeting on May 5 at its office at Kangla Park.

A statement issued by the Organisation mentioned that the main agenda of the meeting would be subsequent actions to be launched by the Organisation in response to the official order.

It also appealed to all casual workers to attend the meeting on time.
