Imphal, June 11: Reacting to a police report, the deputy commander of the central division, finance-II of the KYKL today clarified that L Bedanta alias Dinesh who was arrested by a combined force of Imphal West police commandos and Thoubal police commandos had nothing to with the gangsters who looted gold from L Ratan.

Bedanta was arrested on June 9 from Tera Moirang Hanuba Leirak.

Bedanta was earlier hauled up by the KYKL and quizzed in connection with the looting of the gold.

However as he was found innocent, he was released unharmed.
