Ukhrul, February 13: Many social organizations including Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) and HKL (Ukhrul Students Union) condole the demise of five persons during an ambush by MPA cadres at Kamjong block in between Chassad and Nambisha on February 9 while returning from poll duty.

Qr Stephen Angang, president TNL in a hand out said that it is shocking to learn the demise of three CRPF jawans and two other civilians - a driver and a polling officer and injuring one.

The statement further pray for speedy recovery of the injured jawans and shared in the grief of the bereaved families.
