Imphal, February 01 2010: As part its Civic Action Programme, CRPF, Group Centre, Langjing today distributed computers along with printers to Asha Bhavan, Tarung, Imphal West and Mingle Club, Chajing Knagjeibung, Imphal West in a function held at the Auditorium of Asha Bhavan.

Rajeev Kumar, DIG, Group Centre Langjing graced the function as the Chief Guest which was also attended by CRPF officials, recovering drug addicts and alcoholics, officials of Asha Bhavan and members of Mingle Club.

The computers have been donated with a view to impart computer training to the recovering drug addict so as to empower them in their bid to find employment and join the mainstream as healthy citizens, said a press release from the office of DIGP, group Centre, Lanjing, CRPF.
