Army refutes UNLF claim

Imphal, January 08: Army authorities have refuted the UNLF claim regarding inflicting 3-4 casualties on security forces in Parbung area of Tipaimukh sub-division of Churachandpur district yesterday as published in some section of press as uncorroborated and baseless.

A PIB (DW) statement claimed that UNLF is misinforming the public and its own cadres who are finding it very difficult to survive in absence of the support from local population in the tribal areas of Churachandpur.
