Imphal, November 20: In another case of accident, two persons were run over by a speeding truck at Thoubal Houkha yesterday at around 7: 30 pm.

The victims have been identified as Singam Naobi (60) of Thoubal Okram Wangma Taba and Lisham Ibosana (38) of Thoubal Houkha.

S Naobi succumbed to injuries on the way to RIMS while Ibosana died at RIMS at around 12 pm yesterday.

The accident took place as the two deceased were walking on the road pulling bicycles when the speeding truck ran over them.

The truck was speeding as it was evading arrest in another incident of vehicle collision just before the fateful accident.
