Imphal, February 20, 2010: The five-day long National seminar on 'Problems in conservation of different manuscripts in Manipu : Suggestions and remedies' which was underway since February 16 under the joint aegis of National Mission for Manuscripts, Department of Culture, New Delhi and Manuscripts Conservation Centre of Manipur State Archives concluded today at the complex of the Centre located at Keishampat here today.

The valedictory function was attended by head pundit of Sana Konung W Ibochou, Dr B Churiyan of NRLC, Lucknow and Dr Suryanwansi as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Micro-photographer of National Archives of India NS Mani; conservator of Manipur State Archives, Manuscripts Conservation Centre Romita Kh, Archivist of Gauhati University Tarun Saikia and retired ARCS B Kulachandra Sharma were among the resource persons who spoke on related topics on the concluding day of the seminar.
