Imphal, April 19:
As per a resolution of its meeting held on April 16 at Khumji community hall, the Railway Track Organisation (RTO), Noney has urged upon the Tamenglong Public Forum (TPF) to withdraw its complaint addressed to the Chief Secretary by April 23, conveyed a release issued by RTO.
The TPF complaint reportedly submitted to the Chief Secretary on March 26 asked for withholding payment of compensation to the villagers affected by construction of Jiri-Tupul railway line.
Asking to withdraw the same complaint, the RTO warned that for any consequence arising out of their refusal to withdraw the complaint, the TPF will be held accountable.
It further alleged that the TPF is an anti-social and an unauthorised body.
