Imphal, Jul 04: In an apparent case of suicide a 30 year old person undergoing treatment at a drug de-addiction centre in Thangmeiband succumbed to internal injuries on July 2 night at RIMS where was admitted after being found hanging on July 2 night at the rehabilitation centre.

The deceased has been identified as Jamuna Prasad of Mantripukhri.

The body, with 6/7 bruised marks, had been handed over to family members on completion of autopsy at RIMS morgue yesterday.

A case on the matter has been registered in Imphal police station.
