Imphal, September 29:
Under the Government's initiative to remove floating biomass from Loktak lake, compensation amounts were distributed to floating biomass owners today.
During a function graced by Thanga A/C MLA Mangibabu as chief guest, cheques of Rs 13,000 each were distributed to 320 floating biomass owners of Sendra Ngaram, Samukon and Chingkha.
