Imphal, October 27:
Saying that the indefinite closure of Presidency College, Motbung would go on until and unless the issue of part time lecturers is solved properly, the Students' Union of the College has resolved not to allow the part time lecturers retained by the State Government to join the College, conveyed a press release issued by the Students' Union.
Reiterating their demand to solve the issue of part time lecturers and to save their careers and lives, the students threatened that they would impose total bandh on NH 39 and NH 53 if their woes are not redressed at the earliest, added the release.
