Imphal, January 27: Along with presentation of cultural programmes and march past by school children of Morning Star, St Mary and Christ King and 10 AR, the 58th Republic Day was also celebrated at Sajik Tampak.

The celebration commenced with hoisting of flag and singing of National Anthem, informed a PIB (DW) release.

Similar celebrations were also held in the villages of Aigejang Phollen, Geingai and Singtam, it added.

An AR PRO release informed that the Republic Day was also celebrated at Khenjo.
