Imphal, Jul 24: A man was found dead today at the Kangla moat in front of M Sector.

Personnel of Imphal police station have retrieved the corpse and deposited at RIMS mortuary.

The body found floating on the Kangla moat was all decayed.

The deceased was found wearing a jean pant and a half-sleeved shirt.

ACE home fired at : Some unidentified men fired several rounds at the home of Additional Chief Engineer CADA, W Kumar at Singjamei Thokchom Leikai at around 6:45 pm yesterday.

Corpse found : A driver was found dead today at Khuman Lampak bus terminus under Imphal police station today at around 4:30 am.

The deceased driver is identified as Tekcham Mangijao (29) s/o T Ningthourel of Khongjom Bazar.

The body was found beside his truck ( Mn-01Y/0142).Bubbles of saliva and blood were observed at his nose and mouth.

The deceased was handed over to the family members after post morterm at RIMS.
