Imphal, May 21: As part of the National Environment Awareness Campaign, 2005-06, Sendra Youth Club with the financial support of Environment and Ecology Wing, Porompat organised a one-day seminar on solid waste management at Sendra.

In all 45 volunteers took part in the seminar.

Trees were also planted at Sendra Ningthou Lampak and in all 20 Dustbins installed in different places of Moirang to mark the occasion, according to a statement issued by Club secretary.
