Imphal, November 20:
The Undertrial Prisoners' Welfare Association, Central Jail Sajiwa has conveyed its sincere gratitude to AMADA for organising the academic awareness programme on prevention of drug abuse and illicit trafficking yesterday at the jail premises, informed a press release.
It again thanked AMADA for providing three volleyballs and three Sepak Takraw balls to the prisoners.
With the aim to create awareness on drug abuse, among the prisoners the All Prisoner Anti-Drug Association (APADA) was also set up in Sajiwa Central Jail, it added.
