Imphal, Jun 19: Tangkhul Mayar Ngala Long (TMNL), Ukhrul has pressed the Govt for appointing a full-time Chairman of of Board of Secondary Education, Manipur ahead of the conduct of the written test of for recruitment of Graduate teachers scheduled to be held on July 2.Appointment of a full-time Chairman who fulfills the RR is essential to ensure smooth implementation of numerous tasks enstrusted to the Board like distribution of books for Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, conduct of the written test for recruitment of Graduate teachers, etc over and above its official function, TMNL general secretary R Makang said in a statement, adding that TMNL would not remain quite if any person who does not fulfill the RR is appointed to the post of the Chairman of the Board.

A memorandum in this regard would also be submitted to the Chief Minister very soon, the statement added, while appealing to all cocnerned to allow smooth functioning of the Board.
