Imphal, May 17: While strongly condemning the alleged firing at the front wheel of a bus (MN 01-0801) plying along Imphal-Chandel route at about 12.45 pm today near the Lilong toll tax gate, the Indo-Burma Sugnu Road Bus Owners' Welfare Union has decided to suspend transport service along the route indefinitely with effect from tomorrow, conveyed a press release issued by the Union.

The transporters have further appealed to all concerned not to resort to such acts of intimidation against transporters in the future.
