Imphal, December 15 2010: A combined force of Imphal West distirct police commandos and 39 AR arrested an active member of PREPAK (GS) from Khonghampat Khunou on December 13.He was identified as Yumnam Ranbi @ Khomba (20), s/o T Juge of Irengbam Sabal Leikai, Thoubal district.

One 7.65 mm pistol, five live rounds and a Nokia handset were recovered from his possession.

He disclosed that he was a cadre of KYKL before he joined PREPAK.

He was working in finance section of the group under S/S Captain Nongpoknganba.

He had extorted a huge amount of money from transporters for party fund, stated a press release of Imphal west district police today.
