Imphal, February 13: Contending that there is no instances of the NNC/FGN having colluded with other group/s for a joint operation against the NSCN (IM) at Phek district of Nagaland, a statement issued by deputy Rali-Wali kilonser of the FGN Gaibon Panmei reminded that ever since formation of the NSCN, NNC/FGN had been maintaining only its �policy of self-defence�.

However, through peaceful means the leadership of NNC/FGN has been trying to make the people understand about right cause of our Nation and urging them to uphold steadfastly the Naga National principle annunciated in the plebiscite of 1951, informed the statement.

Denouncing all forms of violence and acts of terrorism, and castigating those individuals attempting to trade-off Nagas� national rights, NNC/FGN called upon the Nagas to join hands in building �our Nation�.

It also cautioned that any Naga leader or group who goes against the Naga national principle will have to own responsibility for their act of treason detrimental to interest of the Nagas.
