Imphal, May 03:
Reacting to the news item 'PREPAK claims hand in attack', AR authorities have rejected the claim as baseless and uncorroborated.
A PIB (DW) statement clarifies that at 10:20 am of April 30, lance naik NP Singh of 24 AR inadvertently initiated an IED and sustained fracture in his right leg.
There was no loss of limbs and no other AR personnel was harmed in the incident.
It further mentioned that on further search in the area, three more IEDs were recovered from some old trenches allegedly planted by UG outfits which were neutralised later.
