Imphal, March 01:
The Kom Rem Union, North East India has expressed deep anguish and strong condemnation of the alleged mass rape of 10 innocent girls by unidentified UG cadres in Tipaimukh/Thanlon/Lungthulen areas and the extreme torture and sexual harassment meted out to M Naobi by Manipur police commandos.
A statement issued by KRU (NEI) urged for commensurate punishment apart from mere suspension.
