Imphal, October 03: A wild barking deer which was rescued by Langpoklakpam Gunamani Singh, Nongmeibung Pung Makhong has been handed over to Zoo authorities.

In a statement People For Animals, Imphal West District said that the animal was handed over after thorough medical exmaination by PFA and will be released at Keibul Lamjao, National Park.

Three books released: The Leimarol Khorjeikol (LEIKOL) had released a book entitled "Kundo Parengi Hak" written by Khangenbam Ibeton Devi in a function presided by its president MK Binodini, said a press release issued by LEIKOL.

The function was attended by Nongmaithem Tombi as chief guest.
