MK Binodini to be honoured

Imphal, October 30 2008: The Young Voluntary Organization, Wangkei will honour MK Binodini with this year "Life time achievement award for woman, 2008" on the occasion of the Ningol Chakkouba in which the organization celebrate every year with function, Ningol Nachom.

The award is to be conferred to the noted writer recognizing her contributions in the field of arts and literature, informed LC Ruhinikumar, president, YVO to reporters here today.

He also said that the award consist of a cash amount of Rs.10,000, a citation and a shawl.

YVO, Wangkhei has been celebrating Ningol Chakkouba with a special programme, Ningol Nachom continuously since the last seven year and this year, the organization is arranging the same at Asha Cinema, North AOC.
