Sacked lecturers meet Minister

Imphal, October 27: About 20 terminated part time lecturers who wanted to call on the Chief Minister were denied meeting with the Chief Minister by security forces, the terminated lecturers met with Education Minister at his Lamphel quarter.

After they were denied meeting with the Chief Minister, the peeved lecturers went to the Nagamapal residence of Education Minister where they staged dharna for some time.

Later learning that the Minister was at the Lamphel quarter, the teachers went there.
