Commando personnel dies in mishap

Imphal, February 26, 2010: A commando personnel has got killed after the bullet proof Rakshak Gypsy he was travelling on had a head-on collision with a Tata Tipper at Khwairakpan area under Bishnupur police station at around 8.15 pm today.

The victim has been identified as Lairikyengbam Ojit of Nambol Sabal Leikai.

An police source said a commando team was returning from duty at Nambol towards Bishnupur.

The Tata Tipper was coming toward Imphal.
