Imphal, Jul 24: All India Students' Federation (AISF), Bishnupur District Council has relaxed its stand of closing down the office of ZEO Bishnupur in connection with the controversy over the admission of students in class VI in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Bishnupur.

The decision has been taken in view of the steps taken up by the ZEO with submission of the names of 32 headmasters who are alleged involved in the racket to the Director of Education (S) for taking up necessary action, the secretary of the students' body Ch Nando Meitei said in a statement.

The student body further warned of taking recourse to intense agitation if the authority concerned fails to take up befitting action against the guilty headmasters.

A large number of headmasters/headmistress of various educational instituions are ionvolved in the racket.
