Imphal, May 23: Highlighting the difficulties being faced by the people of the district , the District Chiefs and Public Grievances Forum, Chandel district has urged the authorities concerned for taking up necessary measures to redress the grievances of the people.

The grievances of the people include delay in completion of the road construction work from Pallel to Chandel, non-implementation of the National Rural Employment Generation Scheme and SGRY scheme for the year 2006-07 and dereliction of duty by the Govt officials thereby hampering in the administrative work of the district.
