Imphal, June 20 2009: Meritorious students of Moirang constituency who came out in flying colours in the class X and XII exams were conferred the first Mairenbam Manindra Singh Memorial Meritorious Award 2009 .

The award distribution function held today at INA complex was graced Thanga A/C MLAT Mangibabu as chief guest, Chairperson of Moirang Municipal Council S Jibanlata and Principal of the Advance Intermediate College T Manglem as guests of honour and Moirang A/C MLA M Prithiviraj as functional president.

The function was organised under the aegis of Late M Manindra Memorial Trust and the award was instituted by Prithiviraj and his family in the name of late Mairenbam Manindra.
