Imphal, May 17:
The PHED Workers and Employees Organisation, Manipur has warned the State Government to fulfil the demands of the JAC of AMTUC and AMGEO immediately failing which the organisation would suspend water supply to public.
According to a statement of the Organisation, the imprisonment of three JAC leaders could not subdue the cease work strike being undertaken by the JAC.
Even though the PHED employees have been discharging their duties in the interest of general public despite the cease work strike of the JAC but it can no longer remain a non-party to the woes of the State employees if the State fails to entertain the demands of the JAC by May 25.
