Imphal, November 14 2008: THE KUKI National Organisation expressed its appreciation and gratitude to the organizers of and prayer warriors of the 39th Kuki Nampi Taona (National Prayer Fellowship) which is scheduled to be held from November 14 to 17 at Ahthibung of Nagaland, for their intermittent prayers to the Almighty God for peace, unity and salvation of the Kuki people, stated in a statement by Lenin H Kuki, Secretary, Information and Publicity, KNO.

The release further added that KNT was founded by dedicated believers of Christ under the leadership of Pu Evangelist Helkho-on during the late 1980s when the Kuki society was in its critical juncture leading to the formation of armed revolutionary groups.
