Imphal, Aug 07: In yet another act of humanity,22 Maratha Light Infantry rescued injured passengers of a bus mishap with their timely help.

A statement issued by the PRO of HQs IG AR (South) informed that the passenger bus bearing registration no.MN01-J-1612 overturned at Mayang Imphal yesterday and many passengers were trapped inside.

Troops of 22 Maratha Light Infantry were immediately pressed into action and help in extricating the ill-fated bus and provided medical aid to all the injured passengers.
