MLA distributes solar lanterns

Imphal, June 02: MLA K Raina today distributed solar lanterns among the vi- llagers living in the remote parts of Tadubi Assembly Constituency where there is no electricity.

The solar lanterns were distributed during a simple function attended by village chiefs and public leaders at Senapati. It is conveyed that out of 100 solar lanterns, 60 would be given to the villages lo-cated along the IT Road, 10 to the Nepali colonies and another 10 to the Zeliang-rong, while the rest would be distributed among other communities.

The MLA also interacted with the village chiefs to discuss developmental issues.
