Imphal, February 15: Besides razing to ground a residential house properties including granary and standing crops worth over Rs 3 lakhs have been destroyed in a devastating fire that occurred on February 13 night at Khoupum Taodaijang village, claimed social worker of Khoupum Taodaijang village Aduan Rongmei today.

Informing that the gutted house belonged to one Mrs Katanlu d/o (L) Mujaipou, Aduan Rongmei further said that the fire broke out due to short circuit of �parallel� electric wire.
