Imphal, January 03: One unidentified person believed to be a jawan of 26 AR was found dead today at around 11 am at Kalinagar Panthoi Ghat, 2 kms East of Jiribam police station.

Bus tickets and telephone numbers recovered from the deceased indicated that he might be one Gh Angam (27) of Bishnupur, a jawan of 26 AR posted at Kadamtala.

Injury mark of a pointed weapon on the forehead and several wound marks on other parts were observed on the body.
