Imphal, October 03: With the holy month of Ramzan commencing on Oct 5, All Manipur Muslim Organisations Co-ordinating Committee has extended warm greetings and wishes to the peoples of Manipur particularly to Muslims on the occasion of Ramzan which begins from October 5.In a press note issued by AMMCOC, it appeals to all the Muslims not to do anything against Islam and to adher to Shariat laws.

The statement further appeals to all security forces and armed groups not to hinder in any way Muslims offering prayers in masjids and kabarstans late at night or in the wee hours.

UCM greets Muslims: In conjunction with the arrival of the holy month of Ramzan, United Committee Manipur (UCM) extend warm greetings and wishes to the Muslim community on the eve of Ramzan for peaceful coexistence among all the peoples of Manipur.
