Imphal, August 28: Reacting to a news report published in a daily on its August 25 edition in connection with the arrest of a police commando who allegedly works for KLA while trying to set on fire the office of the DIC, Lamphelpat, publicity secretary of KLO/KLA Addie Kuki has clarified that accused Commando identified as Sheilun Chongloi has no connection whatsoever with the outfit.

Moreover, KLO/KLA has already banned taking any form of public donation and serving monetary demand apart from its ongoing project with effect from August 16, 2007.The outfit has also asked the accused commando and his other gang members who are trying to tarnish the image of the outfit to surrender and warned that otherwise their family members would be held captives.
